Don’t Eat Right Off Or Put Anything On The Food Trays

Another tip from flight crews is that you should not eat anything right off the food trays as they are one of the dirtiest places on the plane. Although these trays are cleaned at least once a day, scientists have conducted research that showed that these food trays contained more fecal matter than the bathrooms did, which is quite surprising.

The cleaning crews don’t always do a good job and are on a tight schedule, which doesn’t allow them the time to clean everything thoroughly, so it is best to bring your own wipes and not eat anything that is placed directly on the food tray.
