Although the flight crew doesn’t like it when the flight is delayed for departure, they actually don’t mind it when the plane takes longer to land as they get paid more when they are in the air. Pilots often fly the plane slower on purpose and don’t really care if you make your connecting flight.

This is something that you might have noticed as the time on the screen is never the actual time you are going to land. This is something that everyone has to deal with, and the airlines should be paying the flight crew more money so that this doesn’t happen in the future.
