However, there are other zip codes in the country that are just as wealthy – if not more so – than this zip code. It’s a small village in Southampton that screams affluence and wealth. The area is home to some of the most expansive and luxurious homes in the state. Quogue is also one of the most expensive areas in New York as far as zip code is concerned. Buyers here are typically looking for a second home and with an average price of more than $2 million, these are buyers with deep pockets and likely very famous faces. It’s a vacation town and resort community that attracts those who want to play hard during the warmer summer months.

Wainscott is a small village in East Hampton. It’s not directly on the water, so it’s not one of the more expensive areas as far as median home price, but it is considered expensive.
