The GoPro camera is one that people love. The way that it captures the world and the images around it in a way that no other video recording device can do is astonishing, and it never fails to show that there is just something amazing about the way that the world works. The Great Kitten Rescue
This is the video of a firefighter that managed to find a way to save a kitten from a burning house. The motion in which this video was captured has created something so special and so unique that it can’t be explained. This video has been viewed so many times online that it’s got to be the most viewed GoPro video of the year. Go ahead and take a few minutes to watch this. Just be certain you have a tissue on hand when it’s over.

Space Jump
There was once a man who decided he was going to fly into outer space and jump down to earth. Most people are afraid to be three or four feet of the ground because heights are an issue. This guy was not at all terrified about jumping 24 miles to the ground from his space pod in outer space. Lucky for those of us who will never, ever do something so risky, he had a GoPro with him. He filmed the entire jump, and he put it on the internet so we could experience the jump with him.

Jumping from Really High
There are so many people in the world that will not jump off of anything other than the couch with the microwave dings to let them know dinner is ready. However, the world is full of people who feel a bit differently about that. These people, for instance, are not afraid to go up on top of anything really high in the sky and take a big jump right off the top and head down to earth. Thankfully, they always find a way to film this kind of stuff.

Biker on Cliff
Get ready and prepare yourself for this one. You are never going to be more terrified of anything in your life than you are of this video. This guy is on a bike, on a cliff that appears to be about as wide as two bikes, and he’s speeding down the rugged terrain as if there is no tomorrow. Of course, there might not be a tomorrow for him if he’s not careful about how he gets down that cliff. Tune in, but be prepared to feel a bit stressed and anxious.

Pancake Toss
For some reason, people love this video. It’s been viewed millions of times. It’s not that special, but people have a thing for it, so we included it on this list just for you. Watch as someone making a pancake in a frying pan in their own personal kitchen decides to use their GoPro and a spatula to toss the pancake around the kitchen. It’s not going to give you goosebumps, but it is going to make you wonder.

Lion Attack
It’s not what you think. Of course, you are going to wonder about this one. It appears to be a video of a man in the wilderness who is being hugged by a great big lion. It doesn’t seem overly safe in the least. In fact, it seems really dangerous and not at all like something you should ever do at any point in your life. Fortunately, since most of us do not want a hug from a giant lion, we can live vicariously through this video to see what the experience is like without actually having to experience it.

From the View of a Bird
Someone decided that it would be an excellent idea to strap a GoPro to a bird and let the bird fly around showing us what it looks like to have a real “bird’s eye view,” and it’s really cool. We have some questions, such as how did someone catch a bird to do this with, and how did they get the bird back once the bird was set free from captivity? We have more questions than answers, but it doesn’t change the fact that this is a cool video to see.

Up Close and Personal with Bears
No one likes a bear. They’re not fun at all. They’re big, scary and belong far away from civilization in the wild or in zoos where there is a really big gate or wall between them and us. Of course, that means that we have to forgo this video if there are no bears near humans. However, this bear was near a human and he caught the entire thing on his GoPro for us to see, and it was really something special for the entire world.

The Cliff Jump That Ended Badly
This guy decided that cliff jumping was absolutely for him. Except; it wasn’t for him. His video is entertaining to use, but the word on the street is that this guy ended up needing some serious medical attention to deal with his broken and fractured bones after this jump went very, very wrong. After he healed from his jump injuries, however, he made the decision to post his video online so we could all experience what it’s like to crash land a cliff jump thanks to the powers of the GoPro camera.

Monkey Loves Music
Sometimes you’re out in the woods playing your ukulele when you decide that it would be really fun to give your instrument to the nearest orangutan. What’s fun about this GoPro video is that we all get to see how the monkey plays the musical instrument, what he thinks of it and whether or not he has any actual talent. It’s kind of a fun one to watch. People have viewed it millions of times, so it can’t be that bad.

Swimming with Sharks
Few things in life are as scary for most people as the idea of swimming with sharks. In fact, most people avoid the ocean for this very reason. The idea of being in the water with Jaws is just too much. However, this woman seems to relish the fact that she’s stuck in the ocean with a giant shark, and her GoPro camera captures the entire thing as it is happening. It might not be something you’d ever do in your life, but it’s awesome to watch someone else do it.

Avalanche
At first it’s unclear what we’re watching other than a person in skis trying to do some seriously cool skiing. It is not until a little later in the video that you realize he or she is trying to create an avalanche in the snow! We don’t know how it’s done, what happens when this is done or if it’s even possible, but we do know that the video is very cool to see, and it’s something that you will want to sit down and watch for the time being.

Chilean Bike Race
There is a special bike race in Chile every year, and it’s apparently very busy, dangerous and exciting. Having never been there or heard or it before, we can’t say this is true or not. However, this video, taken by a biker during the race, does make it look pretty terrifying. For people who are not in the race right away, it seems that you are in the race when you watch it. It’s difficult to watch this GoPro video without feeling as if you are in the middle of the action, terrified the entire time.

GoPro and a Balloon in Space
Someone had a balloon and thought that they’d send it up to space with a GoPro attached to it so that they could film something awesome, and that they did. This is another one of those videos that leaves us with more questions than answers, however. First of all, what kind of balloon makes it all the way to space? Secondly, how did the people who sent this camera up ever get it back? Could that person please let us know how this happened?

Stolen GoPro
When an animal steals a GoPro camera, it’s funny. When the culprit is a seagull, it’s even funnier. When this seagull steals this guy’s camera and takes a flight with it, it’s impossible not to laugh. What makes it even more hilarious is that the bird seems to know he or she did something wrong, and it almost seems as if the bird is mocking the person whose camera it stole. It’s something that makes for excellent watching!

Kayak in a Ditch
When you have a drainage ditch that’s filled with water and a couple of people with a kayak and a GoPro, you know that the result is going to be something completely epic, and this is going to prove that true. A couple of Canadians make the decision to take their kayak into a drainage ditch filled with water and film the entire thing on their GoPro camera and upload it to the internet. All we know is that this does not look like something many other people would ever do.

Billiard Shots
If ever you’ve played billiards, you’re familiar with the game. In fact, you’re probably familiar with the game even if you haven’t played in the past. This guy shows us how to make an awesome shot in the middle of the game, but he does it by putting the camera somewhere we never expected. It’s a very good view of a shot on a pool table, and it’s definitely worth watching to see how this video ends.

Pelican Learns to Fly
This is a baby Pelican with a GoPro attached to it. This baby was separated from its family at some point during a terrible storm in a far away country. When animal scientists found the bird, they saved it and taught it to fly. Before they released it to do what they taught, however, they decided to strap a GoPro to the bird and let things happen naturally from that point forward. The results are very cool, and it was a great idea to do this and allow people to see what really happens when a bird flies with a camera attached to it. The scenery isn’t too bad, either.

Petting a Shark
Few people in the world have any desire to get close to a shark. We’ve already shown on GoPro video in which someone decided it would be a lot of fun to get into the water with a shark. This one is even worse. This is a video in which someone gets so close to a shark in the ocean that they get to pet the shark. That’s right; we get to see people petting a shark. Granted, it’s not a great white, but it’s still a shark. It still has teeth.

Roof Jump
This guy thought he’d better bring a few GoPro cameras with him with he jumps off the roof of a building and then decides to slide down another one. It’s an interesting concept, and certainly one that most people wouldn’t dream of attempting. However, we get to see it while it’s happening, and it is pretty amazing from an outsider’s point of view.
