Bugatti Will Unveil Their Next Car, The Chiron, At Geneva 2016

We have official word that the newest car from Bugatti is well on its way, it’s going to be called the Chiron, and it’s going to make its world premier at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Bugatti has proved time and time again that they make some of the finest motor vehicles on the planet, and pretty much everyone that is a fan of cars is excited to see what the Chiron will be announce. This information comes from a recent press release from Bugatti, where they officially broke the news to everyone. Here’s what Wolfgang Dürheimer, the president of Bugatti, said about the Chiron:

The development brief for the Chiron can be summarized in one sentence and is probably the shortest in the history of the automobile: we want to make the best significantly better. The Chiron will set new standards in every respect. We will continue to produce the world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car. This is the claim of Bugatti and our customers.

So apparently the Chiron will inevitably be faster and better than the old Veyrons, which is almost difficult to imagine given how fast and powerful they are. While not much, or really anything, is known about the Chiron at this time, we can bet that it will be pretty incredible.

Bugatti named the vehicle after Louis Chiron, a famed racing driver that won a host of races back in the 1920’s and the 1930’s when he raced for the brand. In fact, he is the most accomplished driver to ever sit in a Bugatti racing car. Now when you name your new, highly-anticipated supercar after a man like that, it has to be pretty amazing.

The Chiron is apparently still going through testing, but is in the finalized process. Apparently Bugatti have already show off the Chiron to some select VIPs, and according to them, over 100 people have already placed orders….on a car that isn’t even out yet. We will have to keep waiting for the Geneva Motor Show to roll around to see more about this vehicle, and I’m sure it will most likely steal the show.
