Breitling Exospace B55

Breitling has recently introduced their Exospace B55 and it is easily one of the more interesting timepieces that we have seen in awhile. Part smartwatch and part conventional mechanical timepiece, this unique watch from Breitling aims to do it all. Developed with pilots in mind, the $8,900 dollar Exospace B55 is another one of Breathings “connected chronographs”.

At the surface, the Breitling Exospace B55 seems like your standard chronograph from the brand. It features a 46mm case made from black titanium, it’s made in Switzerland, it has a Breitling B55 caliber, and a SuperQuartz movement, On it’s face we see a standard layout with the addition of both an analog and a LCD digital display. The Exospace B55 can perform all of the functions that a standard timepiece can, with the addition of a few smartwatch functions.

You can pair the Breitling Exospace B55 with a smartphone, thus enhancing the timepieces functionality. From a phone you can set the various time zones, set an alarm, and even change the display. Additionally the Exospace B55 can notify you when your phone gets an incoming call or a new text message, for example. In effect, you get the best of both worlds with the Exospace B55.

Breitling will be selling this watch around the world for some $8,900 dollars, however you cannot order it online. Rather you will have to head to your nearest Breitling dealer to pick one up. But if you want a timepiece that combines class with technology, the Exospace B55 is a must have.
