Bugatti Opens its First Boutique in London

Bugatti set to open Boutiques

If you are a fan of cars, then you probably know about Bugatti. The Italian company had a rich history of producing vehicles over the years, however in 1963 the original brand closed its doors. The brand was revived in the 1990’s and today the name is owned by Volkswagen and they produce some of the best sports cars on earth, namely the Bugatti Veyron (also known to be the fastest production car). It appears now that the brand is going to diversify itself into new markets and industries as they recently opened up a boutique in London.

This brand new store in London is Bugatti’s first “lifestyle boutique”, which is part of a new plan to extended the brand throughout the world. The store is extremely high-end, as expected, and will display a variety of products. The entrance of the store is iconically marked by a massive aluminum arch, that is essentially a blown up version of the grill found on the Veyron. The interior of the store has a high-quality, modern design and feel to it. We see Bugatti inspired artwork and design elements through all of the store, and of course, pictures of the Veyron. So what exactly do they sell here? The boutique sells a variety of high-end fashion products, namely clothing, handbags, and accessories. For people that cannot afford a Bugatti, but want to support the brand, this is the best way to do it.

According to Bugatti, this is the first of many boutiques set to open. The company already has plans to open boutiques in Doha, Paris, Tokyo, Dubai, and Milan very soon. Additionally the brand says they hope to have 30 Bugatti boutiques across the world by 2020. I think they are doing this to compete with Ferrari. Outside of cars, Ferrari has merchandise for literally everything (clothing, pens, chess sets, etc.). Merchandise that is coupled with a company that has strong brand recognition is always successfully, and these boutiques will be another revenue stream for the company.
