Would a 24 Karat Gold Putter Improve Your Game?

Golden Putter

Golf is a popular sport among many and is played throughout the world. It has always been a considerably more expensive sport to play due to the various costs associated with the game. For one, having a membership with a golf course is pretty expensive, especially for the more established ones. Also, a decent set of golf clubs and all the accessories that go with it can get pricey, to say nothing about the high-end clubs. Well a German company has made the game of golf even more of a luxury sport as they introduced a brand new putter that is made with gold.

Michael Barth of Barth & Sons, has introduced a luxury putter that is sure to impress both you and your friends. The German company wanted to create one of the most exclusive putters in the world, made from the most premium materials available. Appropriately named the “Golden Putter”, this putter is arguably the most luxurious ever made. The company produces a few different version of the putter, and they are all made to order based on customers specifications. No matter which version you choose, they all feature 24-karat gold. The most “basic” putter is made from platinum and features 24-karat gold plating. Prospective customers can also add personal engraving or add precious gems to the putter as well. Each putter is made from hand in Germany, and they are all unique. Prices for these putters start at $2,940 dollars and go up from there.

According to reports, Barth & Sons took around four years to design the golf club to ensure that not only does the putter look and feel amazing, but that it performs like a professional golf club. The Gold Putter is just one club among many other companies that produce these high-end golf clubs. The real question is how well these putters perform under real world conditions, and will they actually improve your game. A nearly $3,000 dollar investment for a putter is no small cost, so hopefully this putter is also amazing. Either way if you want the most luxurious putter on the market, there really are no other options.
