Rory McIlroy came onto the golf scene with a lot of anticipation due to his high skill set at such a young age. He has been carving out a nice career for himself so far and has already won two majors. He’s only 25 years old and his winnings and endorsements have build him up a nice amount of money to spend. Here are five expensive purchases that Rory McIlroy has made.
5. A Teno Yukon Bracelet – $250
A lot of players sport some type of necklace or bracelet while in games for sponsorship or just for style. McIlroy has been spotted wearing the expensive Teno bracelet that he purchased at $250. The bracelet is now available for $95 (see here) but while in its prime was an expensive piece of jewelry.
4. Engagement Ring – $212,823
For a long time Rory was dating tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, and they even got engaged. The power couple seemed to be doing well because the two were together a lot and Rory popped the question with a very luxurious engagement ring that cost nearly $213 thousand. Unfortunately the engagement was called off by McIlroy who just realized that he wasn’t ready yet.
3. A Lamborghini Aventador – $400,000
McIlroy has been seen driving a beastly white Lamborghini Aventador around town which costs $400,000. Definitely a nice car, suitable for a sports star.
2. A Bugatti Veyron – $1.5 Million
This is still technically unproven but McIlroy supposedly has bought a $1.5 million Bugatti Veyron supercar. It was apparently at an import shop and they are pretty rare to get in his location. I wouldn’t be surprised if he made this purchase because he has the aventador. The guy is 25, likes cars and has the money, so why not?
1. A house in Florida – $10 Million
McIlroy currently resides at his $10 million home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The house looks beautifully modern and feels like a bachelors space. There is a game room, a small garden and pond, a very nice looking pool, and plenty of amenities to satisfy anyone.
