The series centers around the unlikely love story between two people from very different backgrounds. Bob Wheeler, played by Billy Gardell, is a middle-aged compression sock businessman who has a heart attack and ends up in the hospital. There, he meets Abishola, played by Folake Olowofoyeku, a Nigerian immigrant and hardworking nurse.
Despite their cultural differences and initially awkward interactions, Bob is smitten with Abishola and decides to pursue a romantic relationship with her. The show humorously portrays the challenges and complexities of their budding romance, as well as the cultural clashes between their respective families and backgrounds.
