Building a family
In spite of all of his roles, charity work, and awards, the comedian’s greatest achievement was his family. Williams welcomed his eldest son, Zak, with his first wife, Valerie Velardi, in 1983. After Williams and Velardi divorced, the actor had a daughter, Zelda, and another son, Cody, with his second wife, Marsha Garces.
That marriage ended in 2010 and Williams went on to marry his third wife, Susan Schneider Williams, in 2011. From the outside looking in, the comedian had a wonderful life. He had an amazing career and family and friends that loved and supported him. However, he had his own internal demons that he was constantly fighting.
