A fitting tribute
The baby boy’s name is McLaurin Clement Williams aka Mickey. The baby’s name was purposely chosen as a beautiful tribute to Williams, whose middle name was McLaurin. Now, there’s a little piece of the actor on earth in little Mickey.
“I miss him all the time,” Zak said of his father in a 2014 interview with People. Speaking on behalf of himself and his siblings, he added, “There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t think about our dad.” Though the moment is a little bittersweet, both Zak and June, as well as sister Zelda, are excited to welcome the baby into the Williams fold.
