
Leave it up to the internet to take a totally innocent photo of the Pope and turn it into a rap meme that’s getting more popular by the second. In the photo you see above, Pope Francis was at a camp for internally displaced people in Bangui, Central African Republic, on Sunday as part of his three-nation tour in Africa. While there, he was photographed giving his blessing.
However, a number of people on social media decided that the Pope looked like he was doing more than just giving his blessing. Instead Pope Francis was dropping lyrics to his myriad of rap songs about life, love, and everything else.
Granted it does look like Francis is about to drop a few beats into the mic, but come on people. He was at an event which was talking about poverty and helping out the less fortunate? Still though, you have to admit it’s kind of funny. Next thing you know this picture’s going to be photoshopped with Francis sporting some serious bling.
