Bulgari Will Construct The Largest Jewelry Factory in Europe

Bulgari Jewellery Factory

The prominent Italian luxury goods and jewelry brand known as Bulgari is set to open up the largest jewelry factory and production plant in all of Europe. It seems that Bulgari, under the leadership of their parents LVMH, are committing themselves even more to the manufacturing of high-end jewelry.

The property will be located in Valenza, Italy, and as one would expect, it has been designed in a architecturally pleasing way. The jewelry “compound” will be comprised of two buildings with very different styles. The first building will be very modern and progressive while the second will be very traditional as it uses an old 19th century farmhouse that is already located on the property. The architectural firm known as Open Project has designed the two buildings with environmentally friendly materials and they expect it to attain an LEED certification.

Once completed, Bulgari will use the factory as their main base of jewelry operations. By creating a large factory, it will allow them to increase production and to create even more intricate and expensive pieces. Additionally Bulgari will use the factory as the first “Bulgari Academy”, a designated space to help train new employees. The project is expected to be finished sometime during the second quarter of 2016.
