The Most Expensive Trimaran Yachts

A Trimaran is a specific type of boat or water vessel that has multiple hulls, instead of one single hull. Typically these types of boats have one large main hull and two smaller outrigger hulls on either side of it. These types of boats are very unique and have several advantages over single hull boats such as faster speeds, less water surface area, lighter boats, a shallower draft, a wider beam, and they are less likely to capsize or sink. Trimarans were first built by various Pacific islanders a few thousand years ago in the form of small canoe-like vessels. Today trimarans are often sailboats, however there are also gas powered ones as well. Trimarans have also been made into high quality yachts as well.
