Five of the Best Luxury Powerboats on The Market Today

Luxury Powerboats - Wally

For most individuals looking to own a quality boat or yacht, a luxury powerboat is arguably the best option. There are plenty of powerboats out there that go very fast, however they are extremely utilitarian in design and only offer a few features outside of performance. A luxury powerboat is a vessel that can still manage to offer great levels of performance, but are more functional and comfortable in nature. They have small living spaces, a kitchen, and maybe two beds. While high-end performance boats are quite incredible to own and drive, it’s kind of like owning a Ferrari. Obviously owing a Ferrari is incredible, but they aren’t the most practical vehicles in the world. A luxury powerboat aims to deliver respectable levels of performance and the comforts that you want for extended trips out on the water. So out of all the yachts and powerboats out there, what are some of the best luxury powerboats that you can get today? Let’s take a quick look at some of your best options.

Predator 57

5. The Predator 57 from Sunseeker

Elegant, stylish, and sleek are all words that could be used to describe the Predator 57 from Sunseeker. Sunseeker is one of the most trusted names in the world of luxury boating, and this vessel is a solid offering. The vessel is small and light enough that it can reach speeds of 40 knots (46 mph) and turn with relative ease, yet it’s also large enough to pack some impressive features. It has an exterior deck for sunbathing, a relatively large galley, and four cabins in total. It’s the complete package.

50 Ocean

2. The 50 Ocean from Goldfish

Goldfish Boat is a Norwegian company that produces some of the finest powerboats on the market. Their 50 Ocean is their flagship vessel, and it is quite the luxury powerboat. While it doesn’t have all the luxury features seen on performance yachts, it’s good looking and has a large deck that can accommodate 10 people total. But like all powerboats, the real draw here is the performance. The base model offers two Mercury Diesel engines that deliver 370 bhp, meaning your boat can reach speeds of 50 knots (57.5 mph). However Goldfish offers consumers many customizations and options for their boats. You can upgrade the engine (for a lot of money) to two Mercury Petrol V8 engines that offer 1,100 bhp. In terms of raw power, it’s comparable to some Bugatti Veyrons. With that engine upgrade you can reach incredible speeds up to 93 knots (107 mph)!

Wally 118

1. The Wally 118 from Wally Yachts

In an industry where the vast majority of vehicles look extremely similar, Monaco-based Wally Yachts delivers some incredible boats that push the envelope in terms of both design and performance. The 118 is the companies flagship vessel, and it is just exceptional. The vessels impressive looks immediately turn heads, and the 118 is like a work of art. It has ample exterior deck space, a modern bridge, and plenty of room. It has a large galley and then three massive interior cabins that can accommodate 6 guests. It even has room to store a small dingy. But the most impressive feature are it’s engines. The Wally 118 has not one but three Vericor TF50 engines. We’re talking about 16,800 hp in total here. I’ll say it again, 16,800 horsepower. That means this 118-foot vessel that weighs 95 tons can easily cruise at 60 knots (69 mph). In terms of luxury powerboats, it doesn’t get much better than this.
