A large yacht is one of the most massive displays of wealth that money can buy, especially the ones that are over 200 feet in length. These multi-million dollar floating mansions are often absolutely amazing and are decked out with features that are nicer than those found in most peoples homes. So after you’ve purchased your mega yacht, you have to outfit it with a bunch of awesome amenities right? 10. A Hot Tub
Okay I know this isn’t that exciting, but the first amenity on our list is pretty straightforward: a hot tub. You got to have a hot tub on your yacht. Hot tubs and Jacuzzi have been brining people joy via a hot bath-like experience for many years, both on and off land. Many of the larger yachts and some small ones now come with hot tubs on board, and they are essentially a staple for yachts.

9. A Basketball Court
We are seeing a few yachts, pretty much exclusively the largest ones, outfit their decks with either a full or a half-court basketball court. Some people are just huge fans of the game, and if their yacht is large enough, they like to shoot hoops from time to time on their built-in court. Just don’t let the ball go overboard.

If you like to run, lift weights, or ride a bike, it can be difficult to do those things out at sea. Well not anymore as many yachts can be outfitted with a personal gym. No matter where you are you will always be able to get your workout in, and since its yours you’ll probably have the gym to yourself with some great views.

7. A Movie Theater
Another amazing and luxurious amenity that we see in some yachts are private move theaters. These personal theaters offer the best cinematic experience you can get out at sea. Yachts can be outfitted with surround sound systems, large projectors, and satellite to receive television signals. If you can shell out the dough for one, they are an absolute must-have.

6. A Full Spa
Another amazing amenity for a yacht that is out there is a full spa. For those who are really affluent it’s a true luxury having a spa onboard your floating mansion. With massage beds, a steam room, and even a sauna, having a spa on board is a pretty great amenity to have.

5. A Pool
You really need a super yacht to pull this off, but there are some yachts out there that have full-sized swimming pools on board. Some of the ultra wealthy, like some Saudi Prince’s, even have indoor swimming pools. When you think about it, it’s really insane. You’re basically saying “sure I could swim in the ocean, but I also have a pool”. You’re swimming in water, that’s on top of more water; the ultimate in luxury living.

Seakeeper is a company that makes a really awesome piece of machinery. Essentially the Seakeeper is a gyro-stabilization system that keeps your yacht stable and reduces boat roll. This system effectively gives you an ultra smooth ride and helps eliminate seasickness.

3. A Wine Cellar
Having a wine cellar on board a yacht is another amazing luxury to have. Not only does the system used to hold the wine have to be able to maintain the right temperatures and conditions to store the wine, it also has to ensure that the wine bottles won’t brake if your yacht hits some waves.

2. A Submarine
That’s right, some of the most amazing yachts in the world can also store a submarine. These yachts have special compartments on the outside for submarines or small boats, kind of like a garage. From these “garages” you can launch a small personal submarine to explore the local area underwater. If people were not impressed by your yacht before, they probably will be now.

1. A Helipad and Helicopter
As if a super yacht wasn’t enough of a display of wealth, a helicopter and helipad are arguably the most extravagant amenity that you can have on a yacht. It says “yes not only am I rich enough to afford this yacht, but I also have a helicopter as well”. The helicopters make for a great means of transportation, and should your yacht ever sink, you have the means to escape.
