Owning a yacht isn’t a simple thing by any means. Boats typically are always viewed as an endless money pit, but for many who can afford to maintain a yacht, they don’t care. We are going to take a look at some of the most expensive places in the world that you can dock your yacht. There is a reason these places cost so much, as they are often in beautiful and exclusive locations. So to get right into it, here are the ten most expensive places to dock your yacht.
10. Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi – $522 per night
Abu Dhabi is know for its wealth, so its no surprise why the Yas Marina makes our list. The entire marina and surrounding complex is located on a man-made island which is very cool. The 221 berth marina can accommodate yachts up to 500 feet in length, so you will see a few superyachts here. The marina has much to offer from the amusement park, the restaurants, the water park, and Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 Race Track.
9. Port of Gustavia, St. Barts -$620 per night
St. Barts is a French overseas collective located in the Caribbean, and the Port of Gustavia on the island is very exclusive. The island is very small, and not very built up, which makes it very desirable for many. The island keeps its exclusivity due to French permits on construction that limit how built up it can be. Given that fact, the charming port is considerably more money than other places.
8. Port de Cannes, Cote d’Azur, France – $655 per night
With close to 2,00 berths and no restriction on yacht size, the Port de Cannes is one of the larger marinas on the French Riviera. So combine those facts, and given the port is in the city of Cannes, it is considerably expensive to dock here. Cannes is well known for its film festival and the yacht festival, so there are always some pretty amazing yachts here.
7. Miami Beach Marina, Miami, Florida – $1,095 per night
Situated on the beautiful Biscayne Bay in the great city of Miami, the Miami Beach Marina also makes our list. Known for its nightlife, the city attracts many people, including yacht owners. The marina can fit around 400 yachts, and has 24 spots for superyachts as well. The marina also offers a lot from the fine dining restaurants, to the amazing spa. It is also home to the Miani Boat Show.

Per capita, Monaco has some of the most millionaires in the world. This small city-state is known for its high quality of life, the Formula One race, exclusive casinos, and all things luxury. In a town where supercars are a common sight, Port Hercule is a pretty expensive place to dock your vessel. Still there is much to see here, as it is an incredible city to visit.

St. Tropez is a spectacular city in France, situated right on the Mediterranean sea. The city is home to millionaires and has a very high quality of living. The port here is also pretty expensive, and exclusive as yachts over 230 feet are not allowed to dock here.
4. Marina di Port0 Cervo, Sardinia, Italy – $3,100 per night
Sardinia is absolutely beautiful and has much to offer on its own. It has some of the most expensive homes in all of Europe, making it a very luxurious place to live and visit. The Marina di Porto Cervo is equally as luxurious, and some of the largest yachts in the world call this port home.

Portofinio is a small and charming Italian town located in the Italian Riviera. From the amazing food and wine that can be found here, many people flock here looking for an Italian getaway. The Marina di Portofino is equally as charming and small, making it very exclusive. Steven Spielberg has been known to keep his yacht here from time to time as well.

Ibzia is an island located in the Mediterranean sea that is known for its nightlife, wealth, and beautiful vistas. There are many great casinos and clubs here, making it an attractive place to come. In a town where wealth is often flaunted, the Ibzia Magna is an expensive place to dock your yacht at $3,660 per night.
1. Marina di Capri, Italy – $4,000 per night
The small island of Capri, which is a part of Italy, is the most expensive place to dock your yacht at $4,000 per night. This tiny island is right off the Amalfi Coast, making it extremely beautiful. Many celebrities like George Clooney, Jay-Z, and Beyonce are known to frequently vacation to this area. The marina is medium in size, however it can still accommodate 10 superyacts.
