Thomson Airways 737 MAX Aircraft Debuting Multi Million Dollar Overhaul “Family Cabins”

Thomson Airways Limited is the worlds largest charter airline and is based out off the United Kingdom. The company can traces its roots back to 1962 and now exists as a premier airline that offers flights from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland to destinations all across the world. The company has recently announced that it plans to potentially outfit their new commercial jets made by Boeing to be some of the most comfortable and luxurious ever.

Everyone who travels oversees knows that unless you pay serious money, flying commercial/coach is often very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I personally am 6’4″ and let me tell you that a 5 hour flight in coach is the exact opposite of an enjoyable experience. Well, Thomson Airways wants to eliminate that with their new plans and concept photos of larger seats, family booths, and even “couple booths” may be put into their new jets. The family booths offer families a more intimate and personal travel experience, and parents don’t have to worry about their chidden sitting in different seats. The company has recently just ordered 47 Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts from Boeing, and it is their newest aircraft.

The airline is even looking into childcare services as flying with young children is very difficult. Additionally concepts of a child-free zone and a snack bar are on the table to be implemented into the airplanes. Thomson Airways says it will specifically zone off areas that are just for children, so you don’t have to be bothered by the crying 2 year old on your 12 hour flight. Thomson Airways wants to primarily attract multiple people who are flying together, and they hope to provide them with more than adequate accommodations. These larger booths, luxury accommodations, and better chairs are welcomed improvements that we would like to see be implemented more often on airlines. The company hopes that have all 47 737 MAX jets ready by 2020 and says it will cost them a “few million Pounds”.
