Meet The Beechcraft-Based Nextant G90XT Turboprop Plane

Nextant G90XT

Based out of Cleveland, Ohio, Nextant Aerospace is a relatively small aircraft company. They are recognized as the worlds first aircraft remanufacturer in the business jet market. The company has had plans to introduced the second model airplane in its lineup for some time now, and it is based of a Beechcraft King Air: meet the all “new” Nextant G90XT.

The G90XT is a turboprop plane that is the newest and the first prop plane from Nextant Aerospace. The company used a Beechcraft King Air C90A airframe for their new plane, and it has recently just entered into the final stages of the various test flights.

The G90XT features two, brand-new H75-100 engines from General Electric and a new G1000 aviation and navigation system from Garmin. The aircraft has also been equipped with many modern features on the inside: there are multiple LCD screens, a two-zone climate control system, new leather seats, a digital pressurization system, a fresh paint job, a new electronic engine control system, hardwood trim, an entertainment system, and a variety of other smaller features. So while the frame may have been used before, the G90XT feels like it just rolled off the assembly line.

The aircraft is very impressive for a prop plane. It will be able to cruise at speeds of 322 mph and it has a maximum range of 1,400 miles. The G90XT can accommodated two pilots in addition to six other passengers in total making it very functional. The G90XT proves that looks and the word “remanufactured” can be very deceiving as this is very much a premium aircraft.

The G90XT will be finishing up its test flights within the next few weeks, and Nextant will begin deliveries of their newest airplane sometime this summer and it is priced at $2.6 million. It takes a lot of development to bring a new airplane to the market, and it is good to finally see the last stages of testing for the G90XT. Check out this video below to see the G90XT in action:
