A3

Etihad Airways is attempting to leave no doubt as to who the top luxury airline in the world just so happens to be when they redesigned the cabins on its Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner passenger jets. You want to see over-the-top? Check this out..

Etihad will now allow travelers to to fly commercially in their own private residence with access to a Savoy-trained butler, gourmet chef and concierge. ‘The Residence’, as it is called, is a three-room VIP suite with its own living room, double bedroom and ensuite shower. The space will fit in the upper-deck cabin and will be available for single or double occupancy. The A380s (considered to be one step down on the luxury ladder) will have 9-Suite Apartments, which will include a reclining lounge suite and full-length bed.

The suites, as you can imagine, are fully-loaded. They have TVs, minibars, business areas and special prayer areas for Muslims. Etihad has really gone all-in when it comes to updating their fleet. There’s little doubt they are the top luxury airline in the world.

There’s no word on how much these The Residence will cost, but you can be sure it’s going to cost you a hefty sum to fly in that type of comfort.
