Five of the Most Expensive Indian Motorcycles

Although I don’t know a whole lot about motorcycles, I at least have enough knowledge to know how nice Indian motorcycles can be. They have created some of the most classic motorcycle designs seen throughout history. The older models can be priceless depending on the year and how significant of an impact it had while the modern models cost a lot for the quality that is delivered.

Here are the five most expensive Indian Motorcycles.

5. 2012 Indian Chief Dark Horse – $27,999

This motorcycle is just mean in look and performance. The dark horse is a deserving name because of its dark colored paint job and crazy power amount. It is actually considered to be a cheap motorcycle for the class it’s in (1500cc) so getting the Indian Chief Dark Horse at the $28 thousand price point.

4. 2012 Indian Chief Vintage – $35,999

This Indian motorcycle puts a slightly modern twist onto the original design and feel of the bike company. The Vintage is always their most popular and pricey model every year but looks worth what it costs. The beautiful soft brown leather goes perfectly with the glimmering bike while the tassels give it a little bit of an older feel. Although I would prefer all black or titanium rather than the cream and red coloring, this is still one hell of a bike.

3. 2013 Indian Chief Final Edition – $37,599

The 2013 Indian Chief Final Edition is my personal favorite style of bike with that big windshield on the front, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a quality motorcycle. The Final Edition has a sleek black and red coloring that I love with the black leather accenting the rest of the bike’s silver. It’s got a v-twin engine and can pack a lot of power and will give any rider a great ride out on the open road.

2. 2013 Indian Chief Vintage LE – $37,899

This is one of the newest Indian Chief models out, only releasing last year, but is on of their most expensive. It’s a 1720cc v-twin engine and the bike itself just looks astonishing. If I were ever looking into buying a motorcycle, this one would easily be a top choice if it were in budget. It’s beautifully crafted and looks great for long comfortable trips.

1. 1915 Indian 8-Valve – $60,000

This Indian bike is a piece of motorcycle history and one of their oldest to date. For its time period, the 8-valve was a beast with very powerful technology compared to the other vehicles releasing in that period. The motorcycle’s huge 8-valve engine allowed for it to be the fastest vehicle out with a top speed of 131 miles per hour. It’s the rarest and most expensive Indian bike out there to own and really reflects the value of vintage.
