Girard-Perregaux Launches One of the Most Expensive Watches

Girard-Perregaux And Asia Society Honor NBA Great Yao Ming With Steve Nash

We’ve posted several articles about luxury watches on our site, but today we’ve found the ultimate. Girard-Perregaux has released one of the most-stunning, brilliantly high-tech watches we’ve ever seen… and it doesn’t come cheap!  Swiss watch maker Girard-Perregaux has released the new Tri-Axial Tourbillon at the 2014 Baselworld luxury watch and jewelry show. Crowds were in awe of the brilliant craftsmanship and top-notch watch making behind the new timepiece. The most notable feature of the watch is its visible tourbillon, which has three independent axes of rotation. The entire escapement is suspended inside a three-dimensional bubble in a sapphire crystal that protrudes outwards. [Click this link to see the Girard-Perregaux Tri-Axial Tourbillon]

The watch is 48mm of pink gold, but clearly the most spectacular aspect of the watch is the visible tourbillon that features a regulator on three separate axes. Here’s the best part – the limited edition watch will be made in only ten examples. If you’re desperate for the watch you need to shell out $501,900.
