The Cannes Film Festival is arguably one of the most famous and important film festivals in the world. Now typically, film festivals attract a fair share of celebrities, VIP’s, and affluent individuals, and they always come out for Cannes. Given how beautiful Cannes is and its famous harbor, billionaires will often show up in their incredible superyachts. This year we’ve seen many incredible yachts turn up, but a few in particular stood out among the rest. So let’s take a quick look at some of our favorite billionaire superyachts that came out to Cannes this year.

Lady Beatrice

Sir David Barclay and his brother Sir Frederick showed up to the festival in their incredible yacht known as Lady Beatrice. They yacht is fairly luxurious and measures out to be 196-feet in length. The two brothers are known as the owners of the British company Telegraph Media Group and have a combined net worth that is over $10 billion.

The Oasis Yacht

Oasis YAcht

The luxurious 195-foot vessel known as the Oasis Yacht was also spotted this year at Cannes. Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Google who’s worth roughly $9 billion, showed up in this incredible yacht. Luerssen Rendsburg constructed the yacht in 2006 and it has six cabins on board.

The Yalla 

Yalla

The incredibly sleek and luxurious yacht known as the Yalla was also seen at Cannes this year. This 240-foot vessel was among some of the largest yachts that turned out. Naguib Sawiris was the man who came in this vessel. He’s worth around $3 billion an is the owner of Orascom Telecommunications and he is also from the richest family in Egypt.

The Amadeus

Amadeus Yacht

Bernard Arnault, you know, just the CEO of Louis Vuitton, made an appearance in the Amadeus. It’s arguably one of the most beautiful yachts that turned up, as if the CEO of one of the most prominent fashion brands of all time would show up in an ugly one. The yacht comes in at 226-feet, it has seven cabins, and it can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The Rising Sun

Rising Sun

Arguably the most impressive yacht that turned up at Cannes was the Rising Sun. At 452-feet in length, it was also the largest yacht that had shown up. It’s owned by prominent entertainment mogul David Geffen who has a net worth of around $6.9 billion.
