If you are one of the extremely wealthy individuals that can afford to own a private jet, sometimes owning one is just not enough. Luckily there are companies out there like Greenpoint Technologies who will customize the interior of your private jet to take it from a passenger business jet into a fly house. Greenpoint has recently just designed a $609 million dollar 747-8 for an anonymous buyer, and it looks absolutely amazing.
The Boeing 747 is primarily used as a passenger jet since it can hold 450 people, but if you take the majority of the seats out, you can really put in some cool things. This custom jet is essentially the equivalent of a super yacht and guests on board will be more than comfortable. The jet features many different rooms that serve a variety of functions. There are multiple living rooms and lounges that feature comfortable couches, televisions, and bespoke furniture. There are seats for staff members, a kitchen, an office and meeting room to get work done, and even a dining room that can sit 12 people comfortably.
The 747 also features an extremely luxurious master bedroom at the front that offers ample amounts of privacy. Additionally many of the couches and chairs can be converted into additional beds for guests. The Boeing 747 is 656 feet in length and its cabin is 20 feet in width, so there really is plenty of room here. The jet can cruise at 570mph, has a range of 9,210 miles, and can climb to a maximum altitude of 42,100 feet. This flying fortress is an incredible machine in its own right, and now that Greenpoint Technologies has turned one into a home makes it even more special. It makes you wonder about who exactly could afford to purchase something that costs $609 million dollars.
