Have you ever wanted to take a trip on a luxury private yacht but you really cannot afford to own one? Well you’re in luck as there are many charter options for yachts out there, and Burgess Yachts is now offering an amazing 50 meter superyacht as a charter vessel. This new yacht will broaden Burgess Yachts already large fleet of amazing charter yachts for people to use.
The yacht is named the Moonraker, and it is an absolutely stunning vessel at 164 feet. Despite it being a charter yacht, it’s not like Burgess Yachts are holding out on you as you can expect top-notch levels of luxury throughout the impressive vehicle. The yacht was designed by Stefano Righini and was constructed by the Italian yacht building company Overmarine. The completed project is pretty amazing and people are already trying to rent the yacht. The exterior of the Moonraker is fairly traditional and there are two decks on the back for space and a larger area to get a tan up in the front.
Once we head inside the yacht itself, you quickly realize that this is very much a luxury vehicle. The main deck makes use of large windows and overhead skylights that always deliver very natural lighting. When you are out on the water you want to be able to take in the sights, and the Moonraker does a good job at that. The design theme we see throughout the yacht is modern and sophisticated, and Burgess Yachts outfitted the yacht with high-end furnishings.
The yacht itself can accommodate eights guests in total. It offers spacious living areas including a master bedroom and four guest cabins. Additionally it takes a crew of five to operate and maintain this vehicle; a fairly small crew compared to other yachts out there. The Moonraker also has a Jacuzzi, an exterior bar, and even a small personal gym. Given that this yacht is smaller than others, it can travel fairly quick as it has a top speed of 42 knots. So what’s the damage to use the yacht? During the summer months it costs around $217,000 per week, while in the winter the rates range between $217,000 to $245,000 dollars per week. While that is certainly a lot of money, when you compare that to how much this yacht probably costs and all the fees associated with maintaining and operating the vehicle, that’s a pretty good deal if you can afford it.
