Many headphones companies are now coming out with wireless headphones as they are becoming more and more popular. The convenience of being able to listen to your music without being connected to your device(s) is extremely beneficial, however wireless headphones are considerable more money than regular headphones. Well, there is a new pair coming out from Urbanears and they wont break your bank.

Urbanears is a headphone company that operates out of Stockholm, Sweden. This Scandinavian brand has been around since 2008 and they produce a variety of different headphones and earbuds. The companies philosophy is fairly straightforward and successful: produce stylish headphones that are affordable and sound good. Currently their headphones cost between $30 and $60 dollars, and many offer a “buy one, get one” deal. While the company has a good lineup as of right now, they are adding a pair of wireless headphones that they hope will allow them to compete with other companies offering similar products.

The headphones are going to be called the Plattan ADV Wireless and the are expected to retail for $100 dollars. While these will be Urbanears most expensive pair when they come out in June, they are still relatively more affordable than other headphones. The headphones will use Bluetooth 4.0 to connect wirelessly to devices and they can offer around 8 hours of playback before the batteries die. The headphones will also utilize an interesting touch interface on the side of the ear cup, allowing users to pause songs, answer calls, or turn the volume up with relative ease.

The Plattan ADV Wireless headphones will also have a built in equalizer to ensure quality sound. While one shouldn’t expect professional-sounding studio headphones, these wireless headphones should sound really good compared to others within their price range. Like all Urbanears’ headphones, the Plattan ADV Wireless will be offered in a variety of different colors perfect for anyone’s tastes. Additionally these new headphones will also have a removable and washable headband, a features that many other headphones overlook. While we are still are a ways away from the release date, these headphones should be a great choice for anyone looking for a stylish wireless headphone.
