Yachts are starting to get very luxurious in the options people have to include on board for entertainment and relaxation. Recently some boats have been starting to include IMAX theaters and now a new mega yacht is planning to include an underwater lounge on the boat that will completely change how people get together and give them something new to do while they are sailing around for a great time.
The company is based out of the Netherlands and called Feadship, who makes massive yachts and has finished the world’s first “hybrid mega yacht” called the Savannah. The boat is a total of 273 feet long and is entirely metallic painted, which is a first as well. Despite being so big, the mega yacht is very eco friendly and features a single diesel engine with three gensets and one million Lithium Ion batteries to help the ship stay 30 percent more fuel efficient compared to other models.
The Savannah is based off of a 2010 model ship called the Breathe, but has enhanced all the good ideas behind that and built it into this new model that is even the only yacht in the world to have a variable pitch propeller and azipull. The ship is painted a sea foam green and is five stories tall with massive decks and plenty of space that is large enough to include a swimming pool on it. There is one master bedroom along with four guest suites and an additional VIP stateroom with a balcony attached.
If this wasn’t enough, the Savannah’s biggest feature is an underwater lounge that has windows revealing the underwater landscape for fun observation while relaxing or even swimming in the secondary pool down there. The entire lounge even turns into a movie theater to create an intimate underwater viewing atmosphere. The mega yacht is really one of a kind and will be amazing to sail around in with company.
