Yachts have seemingly become a thing of the past and have now been replaced by the Superyacht, which is bigger and has way more amenities and interesting things on board. The current superyacht in the spotlight is a recently made concept design from Federico Fiorentino called The Belafonte. The belafonte is a stunning 50 meter superyacht that is three levels, has a magnificent modern design, and will travel at a speed of either 18 or 24 knots (depending on which engine the boat is built with).
The Belafonte will be crafted from aluminum and accented with gorgeous mahogany cap rails and polished steel to give it a deep and toned look. The Belafonte has a very unique style that combines the classic original yacht bow area design with a new take on traditional style delivering an end result of a modern and unique look. The entire superyacht will apparently take 30 months to build, give or take depending on what the eventual buyer wants specifically included on the ship. Fiorentino has only been designing a rough base for the exterior and interior design because of this reason as well, so he has only planned out basic floor plans and how everything will be accessed. Regardless, he is very excited to get this project moving forward and is hoping to see an interested buyer contact him soon.
The artistic design of The Belafonte is beautiful and is delicately crafted. The shape and look of the entire thing is something unusual while still resembling a traditional superyacht. The Belafonte is definitely much more glamorous compared to other boats and would certainly look amazing with mahogany accents throughout. Eventually a lucky buyer will come along and snatch this one of a kind design off the table and be honored with taking it out on the water.
