While many of us probably know him from shouting at incompetent restaurant owners who are running a failing business, Chef Gordon Ramsay still likes to cook food. Mr. Ramsay is probably one of the most recognizable celebrity chefs in the world, and this Michelin-recognized chef has recently opened up a new restaurant in France.
Gordon Ramsay has partnered with the newly-opened InterContinental Bordeaux-Le Grand Hotel to unveil a new restaurant. The property managers wanted to offer guest the complete five-star experience, which is why they brought Gordon Ramsay on board.
The restaurant is called Le Pressoir d’Argent, and while the hotel has other outlets for dining, it’s easily their nicest restaurant. The restaurant will serve up some “creative gastronomic cuisine that characterizes regional customs”, or at least that’s how the InterContinental Bordeaux describes Le Pressoir d’Argent. So we expect some classic French fine-dining mixed with some culinary artwork for an entirely haute and fulfilling dining experience.
Le Pressoir d’Argent is only open during dinner hours, but we imagine that it will become quite popular as Chef Gordon Ramsay is behind everything. It also probably doesn’t hurt that the InterContinental Bordeaux-Le Grand Hotel is arguably one of the nicest hotels in town, a town that’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We look forward to hearing more about Le Pressoir d’Argent as it will surely become one of the leading restaurants in the world thanks to Mr. Ramsay and his team of culinary geniuses.
