There has been a recent and ongoing trend in the airline industry for companies to provide a superior luxury experience within the air. From the design mockups that they have released so far, it seems as though these are some of the most premium and luxurious interiors that have ever been put into an airplane. Since Mercedes-Benz is so well versed in the world of luxury, you can expect the very best, and they have definitely done a great job.
While normal premium aircraft interiors typically follow a compartmentalized design, these new interiors from Mercedes and Lufthansa Technik seem to flow naturally. The windows, furniture, and ceiling are all interconnected in a seamless way that heightens their luxurious feel. The design is certainly very modern, and you will forget that you’re actually in a plane when flying in an aircraft with these interiors. They have also packed plenty of amazing technological and luxury features into the design. For example, the windows are covered by these black panels that you can manually adjust the transparency levels. It’s the little features like that and the attention to detail that separate these bespoke interiors from the competition.
While there is no real indication as to how much it would cost to outfit your private jet with these interiors, I would imagine that it is fairly expensive. I mean, Mercedes and Lufthansa Technik are only really targeting people that own private jets with these new bespoke cabins.
