The Cartier Trinity Ring That Costs $99,000

In the world of jewelry it seems that there is no limit on how much something can cost. There are a variety of high-end jewelers out there who produce some of the most expensive jewelry in the world, like the company Cartier. Cartier is a privately owned French jeweler. They were first founded in 1847 in Paris by Louis-François Cartier. At the time he was serving as an apprentice to a jeweler. Once his master passed, he took over his shop and transformed it into the first Cartier store. The company is well respected in the jewelry industry, and has provided many royal families and celebrities with some of the finest necklaces, rings, watches, bracelets, and earrings in the entire world.

Now given that fact, I am sure by now that you probably guess that their jewlery is very expensive, and it is. One of their prominent jewelry lines is the “Trinity de Cartier”. The first Trinity Ring was created by Louis Cartier back in 1924, and it became so iconic that other jewelers started to copy the style. These Trinity Rings, as the name implies, are actually made up of three different rings that are not connected. This requires a high level of craftsman ship as they are difficult to produce. The cheapest Trinity Ring that they make costs around $1,600 while the one pictured above, costs $99,000

The $99,000 Trinity Ring is made up of three different kinds of gold, and three different kinds of diamond. The first ring is made from 18-karat yellow gold, covered in yellow diamonds. The middle rings is made from 18-karat gold and regular diamonds, while the final ring is made of 18-karat pink gold and pink diamonds. According to Cartier the three colors represent “pink for love, yellow for fidelity and white for friendship”. To purchase the ring one must go through Cartier’s website and then call the company, or find one at a jeweler that has it. It is available from size 42 all the way to 68.
