Traveling to New England is becoming a popular destination once again, and it’s mainly because of nature. Apparently around $3 billion is spent during the fall season by tourists making the trek to the New England area in Monadnock State Park to experience the beautiful colors of the season. The scenic mountains provide some great hiking trails that lead people through the wonderful hills.

This area in the northeast United States offers some late season warm weather that keeps the color of the trees in tact for a little bit longer than usual and makes for some amazing views. People drive from all over to experience the foliage. This fall the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development believe that their state would be expecting around 8.2 million that will spend a total of $1.6 billion. In the past, New Hampshire has pulling in tons of money from this influx of tourists who end up putting out a ton of money while on their trip.

The entire New England area benefits financially from the tourists in the fall, as long as the weather stays relatively nice. The major expenses of these tourists comes from their daily hotel and dining amounts. All of the New England area states see a major boost in tourism and profit during the fall seasons, and now they have all begun to start marketing it to boost the attraction rate. These states are really putting an extra effort into enticing people to come visit the area during the fall season because there is a lot to offer. The surprising tourist destination has created a new market for New England and is really helping the economy in the area while also delivering tourists with some spectacular views.
