Global Hospitality Trends that are Ruling 2015

Hospitality

Hospitality seems to be a rising trend that is going on worldwide so far in 2015. People are more interested in the quality of their travel, guest experience and overall hospitality around the world regarding the handing of these topics so that they cater more to the guest or visitor. It’s great to see more effort and thought being put into things that will make people more likely to go see new places and know that they can get their moneys worth in hotels, restaurants, and other places.

The amount of general consumers is rising with more younger generations coming of age to travel and be independent. The millennial population is expected to cover 50% of all travelers by 2025 and with their ties to technology are more concerned and focused on rating things and giving feedback for everything. This establishes a bigger focus and connection on hospitality on both the consumer and provider ends. Technology is also increasing the amount of time people spend caring about what they are eating and how healthy they are. This will mean that hotels and other places will have to start offering things like air purification, yoga classes and spaces, vitamin infused shower water, and more.

The average consumer pays much more attention to sustainability and how eco-friendly hotels and restaurants are being through any renewable energy sources or recycling. There is more overall data coming in at such a quick rate that consumers now have all of the power. Anywhere that can house a guest for whatever period of time will have to be even more conscious of how they are accommodating their customers going forward because there are too many ways for their business to tank if they don’t. Hospitality is becoming a massively important part of traveling and consumer culture, and trends are showing it will only continue to grow.
