Suntrust Bank is a large bank with 1,497 banking locations across the south. The bank has more than $175 billion in assets, which makes it a very profitable financial institution. Suntrust is the result of a long-ago merger between two big banks that resulted in one very big bank. Since it’s inducted as Suntrust decades ago, the bank has acquired more than 5 million satisfied customers. They range from kids with their first jobs to lifetime customers of the bank.
Locations
There are just shy of 1,500 Suntrust locations across the southern portion of the country. The banks are located in approximately 11 states and have more than 28,000 full-time employees and thousands of additional part-time employees. Part-time employees include parents who want more time with their kids, students and even retirees.

There are 2,828 Suntrust ATMs in the country. They are located outside of Suntrust Bank locations, in malls, in hotels and some stand alone. They are in places you might need them most, because Suntrust personnel want their customers to find banking with the company easy and stress-free.

Suntrust cares about their employees and their customers. Since 2008, the company has reached out to more than 40,000 homeowners facing foreclosure issues and offered relief. This is a product of the bank working with clients to ensure that those who have fallen on hard times do not have to risk losing their homes since they still have the ability to pay minimally.

The bank is strong and secure. With billions in assets and a portfolio that’s diverse enough not to cause panic with the changing markets, it’s a solid company that does not look to have any financial issues at the current moment.
