Louis Vuitton Runway Show in Monaco

LV

Louis Vuitton is one of the most well-known, high-end designers in existence, and the designer brand is about to do something it’s never done before; showcase the LV cruise collection on the runway. The fashion house was created as a French fashion house in 1854 by Louis Vuitton Malletier. Over the course of the past century and a half, the brand has become one of the most powerful and respected in the world.

Louis Vuitton handbags are a status symbol. Those who carry them do so because they are made with careful design that will last a lifetime. The great deal of the LV collection – particularly the monogram canvas collection – remains relatively unchanged over the years. After a revamp in the 1950s, designs such as the Speedy and the Papillon became popular and still remain popular today. What draws people to this designer is the fact that the designs are timeless and classic, allowing men and women to carry chic, sophisticated accessories that remain timeless.

Louis Vuitton is sold at high-end department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, as well as Louis Vuitton standalone boutiques. The brand does not need to do much in terms of advertisement because it’s one of the most popular in the world. This week, however, Louis Vuitton is doing something it’s never done before; showcasing the designs on the runway.

The first ever Louis Vuitton cruise collection runway show is taking place on May 17. The show will take place in Monaco, hosted by Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco at the Prince’s Palace. If you can’t be at the Palace to see the models take the stage with the collection’s new cruise designs, you can watch it stream at louisvuitton.com at 7 pm on May 17th. This is only the second runway show for Louis Vuitton’s new creative director, Nicolas Ghesqiuere.
