Sloane Stephens
Stephens is a professional tennis player from the US that at her peak, was the 3rd best player in the world. She attained her highest ranking after Wimbledon in 2018. Sloane’s parents were athletes as well, as her father played American football while her mother was a collegiate swimmer.
Stephens’ stepfather encouraged her to become a pro tennis player because she had glaring potential as a youngster, and she hasn’t looked back since. In 2013, she defeated Serena Williams at the Australian Open at only 19 years old.
