Alysha Newman

Alysha Newman is a Canadian track and field athlete that has asserted herself as a winner in the women’s pole vault events. The 5’9 athlete has an eye-catching stature courtesy of years of pushing herself at the gym and participating in various sports.
Alysha’s path to becoming a pole vault champion was kicked off with gymnastics events but, unfortunately, her progress was initially stalled by an injury. After she recovered from that injury, she tried pole vaulting and made her Olympic debut at the 2016 games in Rio where she won a bronze medal.
