The World’s Most Expensive Extreme Mountain Bike is Made of Solid Gold

Could you see yourself cruising down the street in a bicycle made of solid gold? Perhaps luxury bikes will become the new trend just like luxury everything else. I’m not in yet, but who knows…

Staying true to its name, the company House of Solid Gold has created the world’s most expensive extreme mountain bicycle. If you have $1 million dollars to spend you can choose a Porsche 918 Spider, McClaren MP4-12C or a solid gold bike. Named ‘The Beverly Hills Bike’ with the nickname ‘The Fat Bike’, the masterpiece is handcrafted and overlaid with 24-carat gold. It’s not just gold either, the bike, which took 750 hours to create, has diamonds and sapphires to frame the emblem – to be clear 600 black diamonds and 500 golden sapphires. Pretty ridiculous right?

Everything else on the bicycle is pure luxury as well. The seat is custom alligator, the water bottle is coated with gold and more. There were only 13 of these bicycles created in the world. They are currently listed at $1 million a piece. The good news is – the bikes proceeds will go to charity.

So if it isn’t obvious yet – if you’re looking for something to take to the mountains or even get some exercise in your neighborhood – my suggestion is take your $1 million elsewhere!
