Porsche Design Group Creates More Timepieces

The Porsche logo

Porsche makes some of the most beautiful luxury sports cars in the world right out of the automobile capital in Germany. The company makes a wide variety of cars while also being involved in the F1 scene; however, that doesn’t stop Porsche from diving into other industries to create some unique products for true lovers of the company. Back in July of this year, Porsche created some limited but very cool watches relating to the company. The response that the timepieces received must have been good enough, because the company is planning on roling out their second set of watches soon.

Porsche has teamed up with some of the most popular watch makers in the world to combine luxury cars with luxury watches for an amazing product. The models will be called the Timepiece No.1 and the Chronograph Titanium Limited Edition, and both are scheduled to release into the market around mid 2015. The No.1 model was designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche himself and is a classic design that was created with intent of being paired with the staple car designs. He wanted the watch to resemble the speedometer and other dials found on the dash of the Porsche 911 car, which is extremely nice.

The Chronograph Titanium model reflects the titanium build of the Porsche cars and how big of a roll it takes in the entire process. This watch offers the feel and fine craft of Porsche and the quality of which their cars of made. Both watches are in the earliest stages of development, but Porsche really wants to have them available for sale as soon as possible. The company likes that these watches take them back to their roots and the original designs from Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. While the watches are created with the idea that people will use them for life, the company definitely seems happy to create more timepieces if their customers are buying them.
