Omega Releases New Watch Dedicated to James Bond

James Bond Omega Watch

With almost every release of a James Bond film comes a series of unique and limited-edition merchandise. Fans of the popular British espionage/action films are usually given a choice of a cool collectable item that coincides with the most recent film. These products can range from cologne and pens to even special edition Aston Martins. Well the popular Swiss watch brand known as Omega has produced many special Bond watches over the years, and they have recently just revealed their newest creation for the upcoming Bond film, Spectre.

While we still are aways away from the November release of this highly-anticipated Bond film, fans can show off their dedication and love of the series with the newest watch from Omega. The company calls it the Seamaster Aqua Terra James Bond Spectre watch. Omega has made a few Seamaster watches for Bond over the years, and this newest version is pretty impressive. The watch is based on the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150 M and has a few stylistic changes.

The limited edition James Bond Spectre features a deep-blue watch face and similar symbols to the other watches in the Seamaster collection. The watch also features a yellow second hand and premium sapphire glass. On the back of the watch there is more sapphire glass that allows the owner to see the oscillating weight that is shaped like the barrel of a pistol. This special Seamaster also has the brand new Omega Master Co-Axial 8507 movement within the watch. The case and the bracelet of this timepiece are made from stainless steel.

Omega is no stranger to James Bond, and they have been providing Bond with a special Seamaster since 1995 and of course we will see Daniel Craig wear this watch in the upcoming film. Only 15,007 units of this limited edition watch will be produced so if you want one you better act quick. The watch is also fairly expensive at $6,422 dollars so you better bring your credit card with you as well.
