Celebrate The Upcoming Olympic Games With The Omega Seamaster Bullhead “Rio 2016”

Omega Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016

The 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are approaching fast, and to celebrate the games, Omega has created a limited edition timepiece called the Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016. Wonder why a watch company is making a timepiece for the Olympics? Well that’s because Omega will be supplying all of the clocks used to track the competing athletes times in the events.

Omega first launched their Bullhead styled watches back in 1969, and they have remained to be some of the brands more popular “atypical” timepieces. The watch has a uniquely styled case with two crowns that are placed on the top and bottom of the case. Constructed from stainless steel, this chronograph displays the time, the date, and it even has a small seconds hand. It has the Omega 3113 self-winding movement, sapphire crystal glass, and a 52-hour power reserves. The timepiece has a blue leather band that has stitches made up from the Olympic colors and on the back of the piece it has the worlds “Rio 2016” with the Olympic rings.

The Omega Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016 will only be produced in a limited batch of just 316 units and it is priced at $9,600 dollars. While it is expensive and it will most likely be hard to get your hand on one, the Omega Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016 is a great way to celebrate the upcoming Olympic Games.
