The Fairmont Orchid Hawaii offers 540 rooms and suites in total so it is certainly a large hotel, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t laid back. The hotel is actually spread across 32-acres of land, so you do not feel cramped here at all. Since the hotel is a 4.5-star property, it has all the amenities and features that you would expect. The Fairmont Orchid offers five restaurants, a few bars, a private beach, an expansive spa and fitness center, a few tennis courts, multiple pools, a 36-hole golf course, and much more. The resort also offers guests the ability to participate in a range of different activities, like scuba diving and participating in ocean kayaking excursions. They really offer the complete package. So not only does the Fairmont Orchid Hawaii allow guests to kick back and relax, they also have plenty of offerings for when you get tired of laying in a hammock on the beach all day.

3. The Travaasa Hotel Hana – Hana, Maui

This 4-star property has been awarded a variety of different awards over the years, and it’s one of the best options for those seeking a liad back Hawaiian experience. The Travaasa Hotel Hana offers all of the features and amenities that you would want in a luxury hotel. They have a high-end restaurant, a lounge, a bar, a pool area, a fitness center and spa, tennis courts, and more. But the real treat here at Travaasa Hotel Hana are the accommodations. The hotel is actually a boutique resort that only offers just 49 rooms in total, and all of the rooms are in the form of either large suites or private cottages. So not only does the hotel offer everything you could want, it’s also extremely exclusive and private as well. It’s the ideal hotel for a relaxing, intimate Hawaiian vacation.

2. The Hotel Wailea – Wailea, Maui

The Hotel Wailea in Maui is a high-end, luxury boutique hotel that is all about taking it easy. The property has received a variety of awards and recognitions from many known travel and news sites, and it is consistently ranked among some of the best hotel in all of Hawaii. Located on a small cliff that overlooks the ocean, the Hotel Wailea feels very secluded from the surrounding area. It has all the amenities that you’d expect a 4.5-star hotel to offer and then some, but the real treat here, like some of the other hotels on our list, are the accommodations. There are only 72 suites in total here, and they are all extremely luxurious. You’ll be paying top dollar to stay here, but most will agree that it is worth the cost.

We conclude out list with the exceptional Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. Situated on 54-acres of beach front property, the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua is probably one of the nicest hotel in all of Hawaii. It’s received many awards over the years, and continues to offer guests an experience that is just amazing. There are 463 hotel rooms and suites found throughout the property, and all are absolutely beautiful. This is a five-star hotel and resort, so it offers basically everything you could possibly want in a resort. Besides, it’s a Ritz-Carlton, so you just know it’s going to be incredible. So if you don’t mind paying the premium price tag that is associated with this property, you can bet that your vacation will be as laid back and relaxing as possible.
