Ever since Nike teamed up with Michael Jordan to create the Air Jordan brand, they have become some of the best selling sneakers on the planet. The brand has released a wide range of different silhouettes, colorways, and limited-edition models over the years, and now they have officially shown off their newest sneaker: the Air Jordan XXX.
Meant to signify the 30th anniversary of when the first Air Jordan sneaker hit the market, Michael Jordan asked Tinker Hatfield, one of the brands most prominent designers and long-time collaborator over the years, to create the Air Jordan XXX. The end result is a futuristic sneaker that’s not only attractive and functional, but one that is meant to represent Michael Jordan’s evolving career as a basketball player.
The sneaker features a constructed upper made from Nike’s Flyknit and Jacquard materials and features an asymmetrical knit collar that hugs the heel. On the toe we find the iconic Jumpman logo, while the bottom is a semi-transparent material where we find the letters “XXX” printed. The Air Jordan XXX will release global on February 12th both online and in select retailers. Price TBA.
