Starbucks completely changed the idea of getting coffee everyday with their more luxurious take on the types of coffee offered, how it’s served, and all the fancy things that customers have the option to add into their coffees. The brand has completely blown up and it’s surprising when there isn’t a Starbucks anywhere in the town. Starbucks is now opening up their largest store in the world which is located in the company’s hometown of Seattle, Washington that is completely different compared to any normal Starbucks store around.
The new location is being called a Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room that is a massive 15,000 square foot location that will give coffee enthusiasts a glance at the entire Starbucks process with 6,654 square feet being dedicated to a cafe and tasting room. The tasting room itself is designed with the goal of offering a 360 view of the entire store no matter where you are sitting. This palace of coffee is aiming to show drinkers everywhere how the products are produced from the very beginning of the process rather than just making the drinks at the counter. Every coffee bean used and sold will come right from the Reserve Roastery with around 1.4 million pounds of coffee being projected to be roasted in the store throughout 2015.
The building that this new Starbucks has occupied is 100 years old and hopes to expand the knowledge about their products and brands by incorporating customers into more of the process. People can watch the entire process as their coffee is literally made before their eyes which is something that hasn’t been offered before and will be the next unique piece in Starbucks’ story. The company is aiming to give their customers and tourists a “real life Willy Wonka experience with coffee,” and this seems like they are accomplishing just that. There’s no denying that this will be the freshest and purest Starbucks coffee available and the place should always be filled.
