
Las Vegas is known for a variety of things such as its casinos and nightlife. Since a lot of wealth travels to the city, namely through the casinos, it attracts a lot of other high-end businesses like premium restaurants. Las Vegas has some pretty amazing restaurants located in either their massive casinos, or just as a standalone business. There has always been that saying about how you can find “cheap lobster dinners” and while that may be true, they probably are not that great. The restaurant industry in Las Vegas is pretty large and it can be difficult to make a choice on where to eat. So we are going to take a look at some of the hottest restaurants in Las Vegas that span a variety of different cuisines and price points.
Hakkasan
Hakkasan is an upscale Chinese restaurant that serves up traditional and high-end Cantonese cuisine. The interior of the restaurant, the service, and the food certainly let you know that this place is very nice. The restaurant is surrounded by a night-club and you might even walk right by the restaurant not even knowing it was there. Chef Ho Chee Boon preps up some amazing dishes like the Peaking duck with caviar ($300), the dim sum, and some great hakka noodles. The restaurant has two floors: the first being the main dining room, and the second floor being much more private.
Joel Robuchon
Located in the MGM Grand casino, Joel Robuchon is an amazing fine dining experience. This is the flagship restaurant of one of the most awarded and decorated chefs in the world and is named after himself, so it is safe to say that you will be provided with some of the best food in the world. Every part of this restaurant is calculated for, and it really is something special. The menu is ever-changing, and they serve up many different dishes spanning a variety of different cuisines. A typical full course meal will run you about $500 per person here.
Wicked Spoon
Wicked Spoon is giving new meaning to what a buffet can be. Wicked Spoon is located at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and serves a variety of different food. Instead of having massive bins of food that you scoop from, Wicked Spoon has beautiful tapas-styled platters that you choose from. They have everything from classic American food to Thai food. The interior decor of the restaurant is also pretty premium and a long ways away from your traditional buffet restaurant. For those looking for an all you can eat restaurant that is actually really good, this is your place.
CUT Steakhouse
Inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Palazzo is CUT Steakhouse. This steak house is one of Wolfgang Puck’s, so its pretty much amazing. It even was named as one of the top thee steakhouses in the country from Bon Appetit, in addition to winning a variety of other awards. The serve up all the classic steakhouse grub including Wagyu beef steaks, in addition to some pretty amazing dishes.
Rose. Rabbit. Lite.
Rose. Rabbit. Lite. is a truly unique dining experience that is definitely worth checking out. You will probably find yourself spending a longer time eating here as it is a restaurant in addition to a cabaret club/ venue. There is always live entertainment going on throughout the establishment and music playing. They serve ip some pretty exquisite cocktails and some solid dishes like the beef wellington, caviar-tacos, crispy oysters, and short-rib stroganoff. It is definitely a great experience and a lot of fun eating here.
Nobu
While Nobu is technically a chain of restaurants, the one located at Caesars Palace is the largest one in the world. The food served here is probably unlike anything you have had before as it is a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant. These serve up classics from both cuisines, while allowing each both to influence each other. It is definitely worth checking out if you want to try something new.
Stack
If you are in the mood for some classic American food, that is better than the rest, the head on over to Stack located at the Mirage. Stack is also a favorite among many locals of the city. There dish out foods like large tater toots dressed up with brie cheese and bacon, lamb gyros, classic burgers, handmade pigs in a blanket, and bite sized Buffalo wings. Stack is a perfect place to head on over when you have had too much to drink, as nearly their entire menu is American comfort food.
