The Tiny House Movement is Turning Luxury

When buying a new home there are many factors to consider that range from price and size to features and amenities. Future home owners want to ensure that they get their moneys worth with their new home, and typically they want to purchase the largest home the can afford. Space is great for all sorts of reasons, but what if you aren’t into that and want to live an alternative lifestyle? Well their is a new housing movement sweeping the world that is often referred to as the “tiny house” movement that argues “less is more”. These people want to purchase homes that are in the sub-1,000-square-foot range, and that freaks many people out. You’d be shocked as to what you can fit into homes that small, and many of them are extremely cool. There are even a few television shows about people seeking tiny homes, and many of them are turning into luxury homes.

If you don’t have children and want a modern, luxurious, and affordable house these tiny homes are actually pretty cool in my opinion. They offer a small living space, typically in nice locations like along the beach of a lake for example, and are quite modest. As more and more people look to own a tiny home, builders are ramping up their luxury offerings.

We are now seeing ultra-premium tiny homes being produced that offer luxury amenities. These homes are outfitted with premium sound-systems, LED lights, granite countertops, small hot tubs, smartTV’s, voice-activated locks, heated floors, premium building materials, and much more. So while you do sacrifice space, there are many tiny homes on the market that do not sacrifice luxury. There are many companies out there that will build you your luxury tiny home, which you can then haul out to a small plot of land somewhere. If you want a mountain escape house that very luxurious yet affordable, tiny homes are the way to go.
