Steven Spielberg Malibu Home

It has been brought to our attention that Steven Spielberg has agreed to sell his massive home and estate that is located in Malibu, California. Given Spielberg’s immense net worth and fame, obviously this particular home that is located in Broad Beach is extremely luxurious and premium. The details around this sale aren’t completely clear, but it is believed that Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw, have agreed to sell the estate in an off-market agreement to an anonymous buyer for the price of $35 million dollars.

Spielberg has been renting out his Malibu home for vacationers for a few years now, and many wondered if this was an indication that he no longer had any use for the home. The massive residence sits on 1.08-acres of premium, beach-front real estate in Malibu and the home comes in at around 7,237-square feet.

This large mansion offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms in total that are spread throughout the property. As luxurious as it is, you do have to wonder who realistically needs all of this space. But I guess you don’t “need” a Ferrari, but it doesn’t mean that it isn’t nice to have one. In addition to the multiple bedrooms, the home has many other luxuries to offer. The master suite has an attached library and spa, and there even is a separate guest house. There’s also a luxurious pool, a large home-theater, a central courtyard, exterior living spaces, and even a second spa.

Still as luxurious as that all is, the homes high-point is obviously its location. Malibu is an extremely desirable place to live that is populated with Hollywood A-listers and other celebrities, in addition to being extremely beautiful. When your backyard looks like this, it’s difficult to complain. We have no idea who this anonymous buyer is, but he or she is certainly a wealthy individual considering what the home sold for. So is $35 million dollars just extremely over-the-top? Or is it realistic when you consider what the home has to offer and the fact that Pierce Brosnan, Dustin Hoffman, and Steven Levitan are your neighbors?
