Miami is a very desirable place to live, which makes the location a massive market for real estate. Being such a sought after destination to make home, a lot of the properties end up costing a ton of money and there are plenty of homes that are worth well over a million dollars. The most expensive house to go up on sale in Miami went on the market a couple of weeks ago for an astonishing $65 million.
The home, known as “La Brisa” is located in Coconut Grove and sits on a massive 6.9 acres of land. The property extends all the way down to the Biscayne Bay where there is 200 feet of private bay front property. The mansion was built back back in the 1920’s but has seen restorations throughout the years, and has nine bedrooms with a Mediterranean style present within the entire property.
The most recent owner spent a lot of time trying to restore the home to its original form. He succeeded pretty well and was able to transform 117,000 square feet of the home to include the original woodwork and many fixed windows. The back patio is crafted from coral stone and has a large pool, with everything shrouded under some large palm trees. The property continues down to the lake front where there is a spring fed pond as well as a 500 foot canal that can dock a 70 ft yacht.
The entire Miami property looks fantastic and has been restored to a very impressive look. Both the grounds and mansion itself have been kept in fantastic condition and really lives up to when it was first constructed. The kitchen and bathrooms have a very modern style to blend past with present and round out the look of the house. Although the estate is listed for $65 million, those that can afford it will easily be getting their moneys worth with the beautiful property.
