The Most Expensive Athlete Homes

Woods And McIlroy Stages Duel In China

It’s really no secret that athletes make a lot of money. And since some of the highest paid people on the planet happen to play a sport for a living, they often reward themselves with luxury. One of the many things they buy to show off their six and seven figure paychecks are houses—and these are just a few of the most expensive homes of our favorite athletes.

5. Greg Norman – $25 million

Although he hasn’t gotten any bites since listing it on the market last June, the golfer known as “The Shark” is still hoping to see his massive home in Boca Raton. Greg Norman’s house has seven bedrooms, four floors and nearly 30,000-square feet, making this place one that seems like it could house an entire ocean of sea animals.

4. Anna Kournikova – $26 million

Although she doesn’t play the game anymore, former tennis pro Anna Kournikova was rewarded nicely for a career that was less than inspiring to say the least. Never really becoming what was expected of her, Kournikova earned a ton of cash from endorsements and landed a celeb mate—singer Enrique Iglesias.

The home they live in sits on water down in Miami, boasting 20,000-square feet, stunning views and multiple amenities.

3. Tom Brady – $27.2 million

Built by the New England Patriots future Hall of Fame quarterback and his model wife Gisele Bundchen just a year ago, the California estate is actually already listed on the market. So for all those who wouldn’t mind moving into a 22,000-square foot house with eight bedrooms, six-car garage, swimming pool and spa and is lined with solar panels to stay environmentally friendly, you best pony up the asking price.

2. David Beckham – $57.1 million

After selling his $22 million pad last October, former soccer star David Beckham and his celeb wife, Victoria, scooped up another insanely priced “palace” in the Kensington and Chelsea area of London. With the house largely untouched since its original build some 150 years ago, the Beckham’s should include old world class with updated trimmings in their 9,000-square foot, seven bedroom home.

1. Tiger Woods – $60 million

Following his divorce in 2011, golfer Tiger Woods proved that he wasn’t too down in the dumps, moving into a gigantic, $60 million home in Florida.  With amazing ocean views, a running track and backyard golf course, Woods seems to have everything he needs to never leave.
